The Gideon Spirit

Want to catch the enemy by surprise? Crucify/die to yourself daily, not our will but yours Lord. Just like the story of Gideon and his army of 300 in Judges chapters 6-8. Gideon and his army of 300 men struck fear into the enemy when they broke their clay pots and waved their torches, confusing the enemy. God taught them how to rely on Him and not on themselves.

I truly sense as many others have that God is raising up a remnant, an army of believers, an army of givers to the needy and not the greedy. An army of doers for the Kingdom not couch potatoes. An Army of prayer warriors, not worldly nap takers. An Army of Good News spreaders, not gloom and doom spreaders. An Army of equippers, trainers, and worshippers. An Army not afraid to share the Gospel of the Kingdom. An Army ready for change in the Body of Christ instead of the Normal. An Army of Believers that truly believe that Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! An Army not ashamed but showing the light and love of Jesus Christ through all they say and do so that God gets the glory. Is that you?

So, are you ready to ride up and be who God truly created you to be? Are you ready to step away from worldly traditions and focus on living Christ-like in a hurting world?

Then rise up, stand up, and step up! You’ve been called for such a time as this!
