Greetings Friends, I first want to mention that if you have not read part 1 please, please read it before continuing. This entire message is about you, yes you reading this. We all need to make a choice in this life whether to ask Jesus Christ in our life as our Savior and Lord or not. I pray that you choose him and Eternal Life.
Romans 10:9-10 simply reads: That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
This message is for you, if you are reading this right now I am talking to you, my friends. If you realize that you are a sinner in need of a savior—Jesus—the next step is to pray and confess Jesus Christ as Lord. Here is a simple prayer you could use I want you to read this out loud and mean it from your heart:
Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You in Jesus’ name. Your Word says, “If I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in my heart that God has raised Him from the dead, I shall be saved.” According to Your Word, I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that he died on the cross for my sins, and that He was raised from the dead for my forgiveness so that I could have a new life in Him. I now confess Jesus as my Lord and Savior and I commit myself to follow Him for the rest of my life. Thank you for saving me Father, and for making me your child. Amen.
You Are Now Born Again!
If you truly meant that prayer from your heart you are now adopted into God’s kingdom, praise God! Accepting Jesus as your Savior and Lord was the best decision you will ever make. But that’s not all, now you need to get plugged in with some Bible-believing Christians. I say Bible-believing because you want to rub elbows with Christians who are following the Bible as their guide. Find a church where the Pastor is preaching from the Word of God and you can actually check on what he is preaching and find it in the Bible. If you already attend a church then let someone know you asked Jesus Christ into your life.
This is a big deal, please do not take it lightly, this decision takes commitment, daily, it’s about the relationship and the Love that God has for you and me, enough that He gave his only Son as a sacrifice so you and I could be saved. So get connected I want to also encourage you to find a Bible translation that you can actually understand and learn from, I recommend the NLT for beginners and start by reading the Book of John it will is the 4th book in the New Testament.
