“Spiritual Drain-O”
I know you’re curious about what this message could possibly be about. Of all things why Drain-O? Well to see where I am going with this I want you to take note of what Drain-O does. It gets the buildup of junk, dirt, hair, and other things that go through our plumbing system which causes our pipes to get plugged. A plugged drain stops the flow of the system so it won’t work properly. So how can this relate to us, you might ask, well we sometimes allow our minds to get so full of junk, thoughts of our past failures, past sins, hurts, and so forth; that we fall into depression or just become unproductive like a clogged drain.
God has a special calling on your life and if the enemy has his way you will never accomplish it. Thankfully God has a remedy for our minds to get free of junk. It’s with the word of God! The Bible is full of powerful verses that remind us of who we really are. The word of God is that Spiritual Drain-O. The more you read the Bible and apply it to your life daily, the clearer your mind will be. God’s word reads in Joshua 1:8
8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you[c] shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
I want to encourage you today to be strong and know that you are wonderfully created and loved. More importantly remember Jesus took all of our sins on the cross with Him, we are forgiven, and the slate is clean. Stop clogging your mind with your past failures and mistakes, and start filling it with the word of God and all the promises that are in store for you when you read it.
